Sick baby
I had planned to post pics of Bunny's year-end dance that she was supposed to have attended at her dance academy, but my poor baby was so sick yesterday she didn't make it.
She's had a terrible cough for the past two days, please pray that she'll get better asap and completely get over this flu that's been going around.
Thank you all!

Christmas nostalgia...
I'm not feeling very "Christmassy" this year...I don't know what it is, nor can I explain why I'm feeling this way.
I started writing a post about all the reasons I could come up with of why I'm feeling this way, but when I read through it it all sounded so depressing and negative I decided to erase it and begin all over again.
I won't write anything about that, I'll just mention here that I terribly miss spending Christmas with my family in Chile, with Gabriel and Sally (aka, Jonathan and Mercy), Danny, Luchi, my dad...the rest I have here with me (yay! I'm not so lonesome) thank God, if not I think I'd go mad!
Those were some good years, I treasure each one lovingly in my heart and hope that soon we'll spend yet another Christmas together.

How to speak Spanish
I got this off a friends Facebook post and I thought my Spanish readers might enjoy a bit of fun.
Yo, Carolina Galetti, no me hago cargo de falta ortograficas ni gramaticales, ni de cualquier cosa que pueda llegar a ofender.

Thanksgiving frenzy
My mom's home (also known as "Contigo". Note: must be pronounced with a strong American accent) held a Thanksgiving dinner on the 25th for all their friends and supporters at a local Restaurant a few minutes away from their house. They called about a week in advance asking if I could prepare a few Christmas songs for my kids (well, the kids I take care of and teach every day) to dance to so they could totally bedazzle all their friends with our charming children and show them off for a few hours. The big day came and we were off for a 30 min. drive or so to the specified location. I must add here that there was a strong turkey smell wafting through the air that nearly drove me insane!!!...The reason being that "Contigo" (again pronounced with a strong American accent) asked our home to help them out by cooking one of the turkeys, since they had about 20 or so turkeys to cook that day.
As soon as we got there my mom got down to business and began introducing me to every last one of her friends. Man, let me tell you, roughly about 3/4's of the ppl there were my mothers' "amigas"...in total there were over 200 people, so you can imagine how many times I shook some random person's hand or had someone's glossy lips pressed against my cheek...Jesus, those "hello's" never ended. Then of course there was Aurelia. I can't tell you how many times I've met that woman, and not only met her but spoke to her and her daughters. Hell, I even went to her younger daughter's 15th birthday, but every time she's around my mother runs across the room and drags me to wherever it is that Aurelia is seated and politely introduces me as the "daughter that you have not met", and every time we "meet for the first time" we can't help but look at each other and laugh at my mother's craziness and absentmindedness.
Anyway, I got a bit sidetracked, but I really couldn't help it. Back to original plan of updating...this post is intended to show you pictures of the occasion.
